Krummen Kerzers goes electric

Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor in the transport industry when deciding on future investments. The reason for this is two-fold. First, companies genuinely want to meet their targets for climate-friendly work practices. And second, with many potential customers or business partners now paying closer attention to how a company operates, one should not underestimate how environment-friendly practices affect competitiveness.

For the logistics company and SPEDION customer, Krummen Kerzers, for example, a commitment to first-class service, reliability and climate protection are not mutually exclusive goals. Hence, the Swiss-based company recently took the first step towards electromobility to reduce CO2 emissions and invested in a fully electric Futuricum semi-trailer truck from the Swiss commercial vehicle manufacturer Designwerk Products. And the company's managing directors, Hans and Peter Krummen, are fully committed to steering their company further towards climate neutrality, gradually converting their whole fleet to renewable energy. Please visit the "News" section of Krummen Kerzers' website for more background information and details about the new Futuricum vehicle.

Congratulations on a tremendous commitment and the new acquisition. We wish our customer Krummen Kerzers, many happy and environmentally friendly travels.
