New features and improvements with SPEDION App version 5.60

• There is now the option for the start work time to also be recorded with the selection of a specific activity – refuelling, for example.

• From now on, the user can log in more conveniently and faster via a NFC tag, which is, for example, attached to the driver's license. It is also possible to connect the registration via this tamper-proof tag directly to the driving license check – or the other way around. Drivers of companies who carry out a driving license check via the NFC tag can use it to log in directly to the SPEDION App.

• Driving and resting times now also take into account the time spent on a train or ferry. This enables the freight planner and the driver to correctly implement the ferry/train special arrangement.

• When you log off the app, you can now also initiate an automatic query. The freight planner can, for example, request the driver to: report specific characteristics of the vehicle, enter read-out displays, or provide information on non-completed jobs.

We have a long list of enhancements both big and small. For example, there is now a timeout for ETA information so that no out-dated information is transmitted under any circumstances. Also, the new version allows a fuel tanker to transmit the quantity transferred or the percentage quantity transferred at fuelling events. Trailer management has also been improved, with dialogue texts now able to be adjusted, and an option to display the category in the trailer list.

We wish all our users a safe journey with the latest version of the SPEDION App!
