We are delighted to announce that our SPEDION App made a brilliant guest appearance in the current and seventh issue of Deutsche Verkehrs-Zeitung (DVZ) 'Brennpunkt Disposition' (Focus on Freight Forwarding). In her article 'So geht Gefahrgut' (Dealing with Dangerous Goods), specialist author Uta Fuchs uses the freight forwarding companies A. Siepmann GmbH and Weigand-Transporte to illustrate how flammable, toxic or corrosive substances can be transported safely. Both companies are long-standing SPEDION customers who rely on our mobile telematics solution the SPEDION App to help them provide a high level of safety around their day-to-day operations.
With the SPEDION App's Document Management feature, for example, drivers can access and update all work-related information digitally. The system's detailed departure control checklist also supports drivers in completing this crucial aspect of their job – especially when transporting dangerous goods. The interfaces to their respective Transport Management Systems (TMS) that were supplied, also permit the integration of other auxiliary applications and functionality like access to the database of hazardous goods of the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), for example.
Helping fleet operators execute everyday tasks efficiently using our powerful, customisable solutions, is precisely the focus of the SPEDION team. Which feature can we implement for you?
