The SPEDION partners – using data effectively
SPEDION guarantees simple, risk-free integration of our solution into your existing IT infrastructure by means of various interfaces for well-known industry software providers. In cooperation with our partners, we enable the efficient use of telematics data so you can better plan for the continued success of your business.
SO YOU CAN PROFIT FROM YOUR DATA
Archive tachograph data and automate expense accounting using telematics data
Optimise your customer service by providing up to the minute information on the current status of a delivery
Integrate all the telematics data from your trailers, like data on temperature, into the SPEDIONline web portal
SPEDION provides an interface for TimoCom. When SPEDION App users activate vehicle tracking for the service provider TimoCom, the current position is then displayed in TimoCom's exchange portal TC eMap.
Software for archiving and analysis
Freight forwarders, transporters and logistics staff have access to a wide range of data via telematics. In order to manage the daily volume of data correctly, and make the best use of it, SPEDION provides intelligent interfaces for suitable software solutions and tachograph archive software. This turns the pure data from all the areas within a company into valuable information. Our partnerships with the following software providers allows us to easily integrate their systems into our overall concept.
SPEDION offers interfaces for the following data processing programs:
eh-systemhaus / TachoPlus
Significant cost savings and process optimisations can be achieved with targeted fleet management. The company eh-systemhaus from Krauchenwies, Germany, provides comprehensive solutions for the data management of digital tachographs and identifies key performance indicators within a modern vehicle fleet business. TachoPlus 2.0 provides a professional solution for the automatic management of digital tachograph data from the experts in the field.
The company modulon Webservice GmbH provides an automated web service for payroll and expense accounting for the transport and logistics industry. The software uses read out and transmitted data from the digital tachograph – i.e. the actual driving and rest times – automating and optimising them. The modular product packages not only simplify driver management, but also the work of drivers and the accounting department. For users of a Weber Data transport management system, the SPEDION App can be connected via a component from modulon.
ZA-ARCis an internet based service that facilitates the legal requirement for the archiving and analysis of data from digital tachographs and driver cards. Based on the workstation and network solution of the German market leader ZA-ARC, the system's features are available on a central server worldwide via the internet. ZA-ARC is a fleet management product from the software company Zauner GmbH & Co. KG.
Transport management software
CONNECTION TO YOUR SYSTEM
Today, all the processes within a logistics chain are digitally mapped – from inventory management to route planning and delivery. Modern transport management software perfectly tailored to your needs is therefore crucial for the economic success of a fleet management company.
Together with your administrator, we integrate our telematics software into the existing infrastructure of your transport management system, transparently and without disruption. Based on many years of market experience, we know the individual processes in transport companies very well, and have the right know-how for your company's requirements.
CONNECTION TO THE TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE FROM THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPERS IS POSSIBLE:
NIC-place is a digital logistics platform for the logistics and commercial vehicle industry that integrates not only telematics data from various providers, but also the services of partner companies along the entire logistics chain within a single interface. Telemetry and status data of loading and unloading times, for example, can be displayed on a single, individually configurable dashboard and analysed across all manufacturers. Also, integrated holistic evaluations for forecasts or proactive recommendations for action are now possible for the first time. Using NIC-place together with SPEDION also gives drivers complete and transparent access to the data from towed units – regardless of the telematics solution installed.
Keep an eye on your trailers at all times. SPEDION has an interface for the following providers of trailer telematics and experts in the field of refrigerated transport. The trailer data is displayed in the SPEDIONline portal and can be transferred to the user's transport management system.
Dreyer & Timm Telematik
In addition to standard functions like trailer tracking, recording of operating times and kilometres travelled, Dreyer+Timm Telematik also provides other important functions. With the scombox telematics unit, its various interfaces and the scomsens wireless sensors that come with it, individual solutions can be created for specific transport tasks. This includes, for example, the transmission of temperature data or crucial data from the electronic braking system (EBS). With the help of the scomsens wireless sensors, truck-trailer detection happens very easy, and above all, automatically. The automatic detection system also offers excellent anti-theft protection. And with the scomsens wireless sensors, door and cargo area monitoring can also be easily implemented. The Dreyer+Timm solution is manufacturer-independent and the hardware and software were developed 100% in-house.
Because transport companies can't always have their trailers close at hand, Krone Telematics has developed a convenient telematics system to ensure carriers can find out the position, condition or temperature of their transports at any time online.
Krone Telematics is based on a manufacturer-independent telematics platform that can easily display a wide range of telematics systems via a portal solution. Various stand-alone solutions can also be combined and then an all-in-one solution is provided to the customer.
Irrespective of vehicle type, vehicle manufacturer or installed hardware, the user has individual, user-specific access to all the available data.
Previously, two systems were required to query the data from the tractor and the trailer, but thanks to these new interfaces, the dispatcher now receives all the essential information on the entire vehicle at a glance. This not only makes the planner's day-to-day work easier, but also reduces costs and time.
Schmitz Cargobull Telematics
Cargo is the starting point for all logistical processes. Without cargo there is no transport order. The aim of every transport order is to have the goods delivered at the right time, in optimum condition, and to the right recipient. And the provide evidence of this is the trailer telematics system 'TrailerConnect' from Schmitz Cargobull Telematics – a self-contained system for vehicle and load monitoring that delivers a wide range of reliable information in real time. A range of optional sensors enables the system to be used on an as-needed basis. Standardised interfaces also ensure that telematics data can be easily integrated into other software infrastructures. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Schmitz Cargobull AG, the European market leader in commercial vehicle construction, Schmitz Cargobull Telematics provides valuable, integrative components for innovative transport solutions – all made under the one roof – 100% by Schmitz Cargobull!
eMobile by EuroTracs BVBA for Benelux countries
The Belgian specialist in cloud-based freight forwarding and dispatching software solutions has integrated the SPEDION App into its line of products under the brand name eMobile. In cooperation with EuroTracs, the Android telematics app crossed the border into Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands in 2013, and has been in use there ever since.+
Open, manufacturer-independent telematics platform from Openmatics
The Openmatics application 'Order+' is based on the SPEDION mobile telematics system. Branded especially for Openmatics, a subsidiary of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, the app is a telematics solution used in conjunction with a black box concept that supports the improvement of vehicle utilisation and order management.
