Paul Schockemöhle Logistics to buy Lohner Spedition LTL

Mechthild and Manfred Arlinghaus, the owners of LTL are retiring. But the freight forwarding and logistics company they built as their life's work will go on. The specialists in road transport and contract logistics is being sold to one of our SPEDION customers, Paul Schockemöhle Logistics. The new owner will keep all LTL's 100 or so employees located in Lohne, Hüde and Haldern. This news is sure to please the recent retirees, and the employees' expertise will undoubtedly complement and expand the Paul Schockemöhle Group's extensive capabilities. LTL's fleet of around 50 trucks and a 22,000-square-metre leased storage facility will also be incorporated into the group.

With a haulage fleet of 300 vehicles and 800 employees in 16 locations, Paul Schockemöhle Logistics was already an industry leader before buying LTL.
