• Systematic Approach to Training – SPEDION

A sound IT know-how approach keeps everything running smoothly

Are you fascinated by new technologies? You are curious about how an app works? Or maybe you have developed one already? Great, then you're in the right place! IHK Aschaffenburg

Design, develop, install, configure, network, secure

The IHK Aschaffenburg offers a 3-year training programme for IT specialists. The main focus of the training depends on the chosen field of study:

  • Application Development: Using software development tools, students design and implement software applications according to customer requirements as well as modify existing applications, test, and rectify faults.

  • System Integration: Using suitable hardware and software components, students design and implement complex IT systems, rectify faults, manage and train users.

  • Data and process analysis: You will develop IT solutions for the analysis and optimisation of digital products and business processes in response to the ever-growing volume of digital data. You will also review and analyse data sources, create access and user concepts, and ensure data protection.
  • Digital networking: As an interface between IT and production, you will learn to plan and implement network environments, automate processes, ensure the security of IT systems and applications, safeguard against attacks by hackers, and become proficient in fault diagnosis.

The study programmes provide students with practice-based learning and are continuously revised to meet the latest requirements.

Apprenticeships start on 1 September each year as a dual work-study programme which takes place alternately in the training company, SPEDION, and the Miltenberg-Obernburg vocational school. There are no formal admission requirements for the application; however, possessing an interest in technology, manual dexterity, and English language skills are advantageous.

The Cooperative Study Programme in Computer Science is open to school graduates with a general university entrance qualification, a Hesse-valid subject-related entrance qualification or a technical college entrance qualification. The course is NC-free – there are no admission restrictions.
