We know the driving and resting times of all drivers at all times - this makes things much easier and significantly increases adherence to delivery dates. We also greatly appreciate the estimated time of arrival from the driver's navigation system, which is directly linked to their driving and resting times and also takes relevant traffic information into account. This means that everyone involved is always informed in real time about the status of the vehicle and the fairly exact arrival time.
